I used to hate Valentine’s Day

Published by Karie Millspaugh on

VdayYou heard me right, I hated the silly “holiday”.

I was always left feeling disappointed and let down.

Do you ever do that too?

Have such high expectations for a situation that you feel icky afterward even if the day was pretty awesome, but it didn’t go exactly like you had imagined??

My Ex-Husband was the king of predictability and every year he would bring home a dozen red roses.

It was fine for the first 2 years of marriage, but then it got stale as getting gifts isn’t my love language in all honesty. Quality time is and that wasn’t something he ever gave to me.

So the holiday got a little better as I had my daughter.  Now I had a fun baby girl to spoil and make homemade Valentine’s with.

But as the years went on… my heart would actually do the opposite around this particular day.

It would harden.  Instead of feeling love, I would get bitter instead.

I would brace myself for the disappointment…

By doing this I was creating a wall around my heart that wouldn’t allow love to go in or out

You see, we do things for a reason, most likely because of a past hurt in your childhood, which creates a belief.

I did some digging in my own beliefs and discovered where that feeling or emotion was created.

Then I did the work to clear that subconscious belief.  Its not rocket science but it IS necessary to clear and heal those emotions.

I’m sure you’ve heard of the saying, “Emotions buried alive, never die”.

Well my friend… time truly does not heal all wounds, it just buries them until someone comes along and digs that emotion up…

Which revives that emotion into feeling like it just happened yesterday!

Ever have that happen to you?

Vday3You start a new relationship and they treat you similar to how your ex or your father did and …

BOOM!

Fireworks and bombs are exploding everywhere and along comes the flood of emotions of when a similar situation happened to you at age 3…?

Scary isn’t it?

That, my friend is an example of emotions being buried alive.

I would like to offer you a special that I have for February only… and I most likely will not repeat it, so please treat this as special as it truly is…

Yes, It’s a rare occasion as I don’t prefer to do short term sessions.

I usually work with clients for 6-12 months at a time, but I wanted to give you a taste of working with me and I happen to LOVE Valentines day now…(wink)

Yes, I did the work to pull up that old belief and plant a new one in it’s place and I can show you how to do the same.

My special is, Purchase One VIP Session and Get one FREE!

Go ahead and pre-pay before this offer expires on February 29th, 2016.

Then you will receive an email from me with a direct link to schedule your sessions on my calendar.

The good news is that you don’t have to be a prisoner to your past emotions and triggers anymore… you can actually have a fulfilling life without that anchor holding you backward…

I’m looking forward to connecting with you, as we work through your own past stumbling blocks and clearing them FOR GOOD!

My clients are leaping forward with this type of clearing and I wanted to extend the offer to my outer circle as well…

Pre-Pay NOW to take advantage of this offer!

I will not be offering anything like this in the near future, the time is NOW my dears… your sanity is worth it!

Big Hugs! Big Love!
