The Best Way to Attract Clients

Often times as a consultant in the service based industry we tend to get stuck in the marketing process of getting clients.

We start to go into THINKING mode, as we decipher who our ideal target market is, and how to reach and connect with them… then we start to spiral off into OVER thinking mode, which creates a lot of analytical energy that starts to PUSH your clients away.

We start to talk AT them instead of TO them, we get pushy, we start to over promise and under deliver… we start to threaten with “take away” tactics and we slowly forget WHY we went into business in the first place.

I would like to believe that we all went into business to HELP OTHERS, am I right?

Then greed and competition with our colleagues takes over and we slowly lose a part of ourselves…

Our ego takes over and we wonder why we are pushing away our ideal client.
