The Bad Marketing Advice that I was Given in my First Year of Business

In my first year of Business, I was told to just build an email list and not focus on a website or personal brand.

This did more damage than good, as many doors of opportunity were closed over and over again.

Not to mention embarrassing as other business experts would question who I was exactly, as I had ZERO presence online.

You should never drive traffic to something that is still ‘under construction’.

When you reach out to other businesses in hopes to create a partnership, they most likely will not want to do business with you if you don’t already appear to have a reputable business presence online.

You MUST have a website and social media platforms (with content and followers). Your branding must be congruent and consistent across all platforms. Your images of yourself need to be professional on all platforms as well…

Like attracts Like when it comes to doing business and you will increase your odds for more opportunities when you have built a brand and are seen as a reputable business.

Learn from me, instead of doing business the hard way.
